Spending more time with family and friends and golfing, power-walking, and traveling is high on the to-do list! A new focus, advocating for lung cancer, arose with my recent diagnosis of stage 4, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
As a never-smoker living a healthy lifestyle, the diagnosis came as an unexpected gut-punch. I’ve since learned that lung cancer is a significant cause of cancer deaths in North America and globally. Anyone with lungs can get lung cancer. Increasing public awareness and funding for lung cancer is my goal.
